Last October 24 and 25 was held in Leon, Spain, the 11th Encuentro Internacional de Seguridad de la Información (International Information Security Meeting) (#11ENISE) whose slogan this year was “Challenges of cybersecurity in a connected world.” With ICEX’s collaboration, focus was put on internationalisation, attracting buyers from countries like Germany, Colombia, and Chile who we had the opportunity to speak to about our video identification solution.
Our CEO, Iván Nabalón, shared the success story of Electronic Identification (eID) at the round table on the current status of entrepreneurship in cyber security.
As always, the National Cyber Security Institute (INCIBE, in Spanish) gave us a warm welcome at this event where we had the opportunity to discuss the complexity of the entrepreneurship environment. We also showed how with our video identification system in KYC processes we have been able to dominate the Spanish financial industry in the barely ten months since our market roll-out.
We told how eID won the third Startup Acceleration Prize at Cybercamp 2015, organised by INCIBE, and we gave them our sincere thanks for their support. We are particularly grateful because this support came at a time when we were developing our key video identification project, a disruptive solution in the field of e-trust that allows people to take care of business they never would have dreamed of before from any place and any device.
The prize given by INCIBE’s Cybercamp jump-started our visibility and we encourage anyone with an innovative and powerful project to take advantage of the opportunities that INCIBE offers from their headquarters in Leon.
